Creating a Sale with Widgets and Landing Page

Step 1: Products, discounts & time

Select sale type

If you want to apply the same discount to all products in the campaign, select Same discount. If you want to apply different discounts to the products in the campaign, select Different discounts.

In this example, we choose Different discounts.

Select products

Select the products that you want to include in the sale campaign.

Set the discount(s)

Since we selected Different discounts, we get to set the discount on an individual product basis:

Use the arrows on left side of the product list to change the order in which they are shown on the dedicated sale page(s).

Exclude variant(s)

On each product, click Edit variants to exclude variants, if necessary.

Set active dates

Select the date & time you want the campaign to start and end.

Press Next to continue.

Step 2: Add promotional widgets

Countdown timer & badges

Enable the product page countdown timer and sale badges, if desired. These are only shown when the sale is active.

Click Edit design to customize how the sale badge looks.

Announcement bar: Active sale

Enable and configure the announcement bar to be shown when the sale is active. This automatically appears when the sale starts.

Announcement bar: Scheduled sale

Enable and configure the announcement bar to be shown when the sale is scheduled. This automatically appears when you have created the sale and will remain shown until the sale starts. You can use this announcement bar to collect email addresses.

Each e-mail address will be added to the customers page in the Shopify store admin page. The customers will all have the tags 'newsletter', 'disco' and '[sale title]' added to them (where sale title is the title you choose when creating a sale).

Press Next to continue.

Step 3: Setup dedicated sale page

Sale page

The flash sale page will be created and made public when your campaign starts and it will be removed again when your campaign ends. If you tick "Add link to announcement bar", it will automatically link from the announcement bar button to the sale page.

Click Edit design to customize how the sale page looks.

Coming soon page

The coming soon sale page will be created and made public when you have created the sale and will remain shown until the sale starts.

Click Edit design to customize how the sale page looks.
