How-to: Adjust the countdown timer placement (OS 2.0)

By default, the countdown timer should display below your buy button on your product page. If want to move it to another place on the product page follow the steps below (NB: Requires Online Store 2.0 theme):

Steps to adjust the placement of your Countdown Timer:

1. Accessing the Setup Guide:

   Start by opening the Disco app Dashboard. Locate and expand the Setup guide step titled "Change placement of countdown timer and announcement bar."

   

2. Initiating the Placement Process:

   Click on the "Place countdown timer" button. This action will launch your theme editor and automatically integrate the Disco countdown timer bar into your product page layout.

   

3. Customizing the Position:

   Within the theme editor, you'll find the countdown timer in the Apps section. Here, you can easily drag and drop the timer to your desired position on the page.

   

4. Saving Your Changes:

   Once you're satisfied with the positioning and settings, click on the "Save" button to apply your modifications.

Additional Tips:

• Preview Your Changes: Before finalizing, use the theme editor's preview feature to see how the countdown timer will appear on your live site.
• Check on Different Devices: Ensure that it looks good on both desktop and mobile devices for a consistent user experience.
• Test Functionality: After saving your changes, visit your live site to confirm that it functions as expected.
